One of the greatest pleasures for Mohamed Al Fayed, which comes with owning Harrods, is to delight children. There is nothing more enjoyable for him than to see how many children love to welcome Father Christmas to the store.

This year, over six thousand mummies, daddies, and children lined the streets of Knightsbridge to watch the Harrods Christmas Parade which saw acrobats, pirates, ballet dancers and even Alice in Wonderland lead Santa to his grotto.

The magical event culminated in Santas's arrival at Harrods, where, as snow fell from the sky, he was welcomed inside by Mr Al Fayed.
