Awards & Achievements
Mohamed has always put his heart and soul into everything that he does, something that he scale and diversity of his achievements over the years are perhaps testament to.
France
Contributions:The restoration of two national treasures – l’Hotel Ritz and the Villa Windsor – brought economic benefits to Paris and enriched its heritage offering. Further, his philanthropy to the Pompidou Foundation had a widespread positive impact.

Italy
Contributions: Mohamed’s services to British-Italian commerce was of huge economical significance to Italy, and in 2011, his contribution to sport, film and enterprise were recognised at the FICTS 29th awards festival in Milan.

Scotland
Contributions: the restoration of Balnagown Castle and its surrounding Estates were not only of historical significance to Scotland, but his conservation efforts boosted wildlife native to the Scottish highlands., including osprey, golden eagles and deer.
In addition, his conversion of outbuilding on the Estates to luxury holiday rental cottages and the regeneration and promotion of the Falls of Shin have bought an enormous amount of tourist trade to the area.

England
Contributions: the introduction of English firms to Dubai in the 1960s and the rejuvenation of Harrods, which employs over 3,000 staff and sees Mohamed pay billions in taxes, has made an enormous and positive impact on the British economy, driven employment, boosted tourism and added to England’s rich heritage. His widespread philanthropic giving has helped change the lives of many children and their families across the country.
Honours: Mohamed has never been publicly commended for his substantial efforts for England however, he receives thousands of letters and emails from the British public and a number of honours and cards for he charitable causes he is patron of. These include:
Francis House, Certificate of Appreciation, Great Ormond Street Hospital's Friend of Adeona award, 2007 (pictured above).
In 2009, Mohamed received a Compassion Award from children's cancer charity, Shine a Light, he has also recieved cards from many of the children and causes he supports including the New School at West Heath who name his as their 'favourite patron', and Ratburana Orphanage.

UK staff awards
Mohamed is a firm believer in recognising the contributions of others; throughout his businesses a number of awards are regularly presented to staff that have performed exceptionally well over a given period. Mohamed takes care to look after his employees (even in retirement) and ensures they receive an impressive benefits package along with their salary. In return, staff show him loyalty and diligence. Go to any one of his businesses and you will immediately be struck by a close-knit family atmosphere that sees many stay in his employ for decades.
