Mohamed is Honoured with an Award from Shine A Light Children's Charity

Mr Al Fayed was delighted to meet a truly tough-spirited young lady last week when 14-year old Amy Finlay and her mother from the Shine A Light charity paid him a visit. 

Amy (pictured left) is recovering well from abdominal cancer. She visited Mohamed at Harrods to present him with a compassion award on behalf of the charity in recognition of his support over the years. The award was voted for by the patients and their parents represented by the charity and at the presentation.

 Mr Al Fayed said:

"I am both proud and humble to receive this award, knowing that the children made the choice makes it even more special for me. It is reward enough to know that charities such as Shine A Light are bringing happiness to children with cancer."
