Your Letters
A selection of some of the most recent emails and letters you have sent to Mohamed:
By gum, you have had a very colourful life! I can't believe all that you've done for this country, and yet still... Amar
You must know that Harrods will never be the same now... I hope you will have great fun with your grandchildren and a wonderful rest... enjoy your retirement. The British Public love you - the pathetic British press are afraid of you. As was the establishment. I wish you lived next door! God Bless you - keep your website going... keep them on their toes! Christina
Harrods is your style and will not be same without you. I miss you - always my inspiring legend. Kashif

May I offer my heartfelt congratulation on your recent sale of Harrods. It is a real beacon to your success as a great human being. I hope that true justice can be served for you in the future. Be happy and lucky. David
I have heared about the selling of your fantastic shop, I wish you a good retirement and hope that there will be no changes and that the shop will remain the same, friendly and warm welcome to everybody. May God bless you and your family and a big thank you for everything you have done. Paul
I salute your business acumen and zeal to make your dreams come true. Owning Harrods & L’Hotel Ritz was your reverie and it actually became a reality because of your sheer determination and vision. I consider you as a great man because, despite being an extremely busy person, you valued society by doing various philanthropy works for the people. I will always associated your name with Harrods. You are my hero and guru. Anshul
You have made such a beautiful place in the heart of London. For many years before you purchased it, I felt there was a steady decline; one which you turned round and totally re-established the reputation and quality which was synonymous with the original intentions of the establishment. You improved every aspect. I very much hope you will be able fully to enjoy a life which you so very richly deserve. Michael
I would like to wish you a wonderful long life of a retirement and feel that as you have contributed so much to the UK you should have been granted citizenship. I know how you must be feeling as a grieving father and for that my sympathy is with you and as a human being you deserve a good long life with your family in piece and quiet. B.
I was born in 1930 and have enjoyed 15 years retirement so far. I hope you have many wonderful and happy years with your family. Leonard
I am sorry to learn that you have sold Harrods. Harrods is you. If you are taking some sort of retirement then I wish you well. If I had my way you would be knighted. Carol
We were so sorry to hear that you are leaving Harrods but think fondly of our last visit in December. We are ashamed of how you have been treated by this country but thank you for all you have done. Our very best wishes for the future, Philip and Nikki
Whilst I was saddened to hear that you had sold Harrods, because you were a very fine and dignified owner, I want to wish you all the best for your future. You have worked very hard in all your business and charity work and you more than deserve the rest and relaxation you will now enjoy! It shames me to be british when I think of the way you have been treated over the years by some british groups I dont need to name, I cannot understand their reasoning for this. Take care of yourself Sir, and I wish you the very best of health and happiness for your future. Faith
A trip to London is incomplete without visiting Harrods, I sincerely hope that the new owners of the store are able to live up to your legacy and maintain the store's character. Thank you. Jaded
I would like to extend my best wishes to you for your retirement after selling Harrods. As a life long Fulham supporter, I would also like to thank you for the time, money and dedication which you have given to the club, and I hope that despite your announced retirement, you will still continue to do so. Pahlan
You are a good man and lived through some hard days with unforgettable scars. I read that you have sold the Harrods and going to spend time with your grand children's, God bless you and enjoy your life with your family. Ollie
Please enjoy your reitrement, your family and, God willing, a long and healthy retirement. Pete
