Your Gift to Jade Goody
I started reading the last autobiography of Jade Goody about two hours ago – I’ve only managed to get to page 27 due to the emotion it has brought upon me. I got to the part where she and Jack were looking for her wedding gown, and was astonished by your style and the beautiful way in which you presented Jade with her wedding gift from you – the very gown she wed in.
I think, when you learned Jade was at Harrods, you went out of your way to give her such a beautiful and sincere gesture to help her have the perfect wedding.
You may think that giving somebody a wedding dress is not a big deal, it’s not, but it wasn’t the gift, it was your presentation: “her wedding gift – from you”. I think it was so beautiful of you to be so generous with your heart, it actually made me shed a few tears.
I would also like to apologise about the death of your son Dodi and Princess Diana. I know sorry means nothing in such tragic circumstances.
I will remember you for the rest of my life because of your sincerity, generosity and the strength you have given and show, not just to Jade but to the nation.
You really are a true gentleman Mohamed Al Fayed, may your god bless you.
