Shooting Star Children's Hospice
Caring for a child suffering from a life-limiting illness or life-threatening condition can be a round-the-clock job.
The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice creates an environment where desperately ill children and their families can play together, share laughs together and create moments which they can always treasure. Not only that, but its expert nursing staff and sensory therapy facilities means that it can offer families a much needed rest by caring for their child through its outreach support and day care services, and provide emotional support whenever it is needed.
This incredible hospice makes a difference to the lives of over 250 families every year, but lack of government funding means that it relies on public donations to keep it going.
Mohamed's monthly donations go a long way to helping it raise the £3 million a year it needs to keep giving these desperately ill children and their families the care and support they need, but it still needs your help.
